Scanning electron microscope image of Strongylocentrotus drobachiensus [sea urchin] at the gastrula stage. Embryo was cut in half to reveal blastocoel cavity, containing blastocoel matrix material, primary mesenchyme cells and secondary mesenchyme cells migrating from the tip of the archenteron.
