Scanning electron microscope image of bronchiolar epithelium, which consists of ciliated and non-ciliated bronchiolar cells. Non-ciliated bronchiolar cells are called Clara cells. There are red blood cells on the surface of the epithelium. Note the difference in size between the cilia and the microvilli(on non-ciliated cell surface)
