CAT Particles:

These particles have elevated concentrations of calcium, aluminum and titanium (relative to chondritic) and no iron. They also have a high Mg/Si ratio. Their composition suggests that they have been severely heated entering the atmosphere and that all the Fe and some of the SI has vaporized. Elements that have very high boiling temperatures (Ca, Al, and Ti) are enriched.
