The John Caldwell Meeker Postdoctoral Fellow. Applications are invited for the position of the John Caldwell Meeker Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Geology at The Field Museum. The successful candidate will be expected to complement, and / or participate in, any one of the ongoing research programs in the Department of Geology. Research projects are being pursued in the areas of Vertebrate Paleontology, Invertebrate Paleontology, Paleobotany, and Meteoritics. Individual Curators and their research programs are featured on the Field Museum website: (http://www.fieldmuseum.org/research_collections/geology/research.htm) A Ph.D. in any field of research represented in the Department of Geology is required. The term for this position is for a maximum of two years. The appointment is anticipated to begin September 1, 2004.
