Spritz (as we know them)
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 dash salt
1 teaspoon almaond extract
Red and green colored sugar
1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add egg abd remaining ingredients. Dough may be refrigerated.
3. Using a spritz gun, extrude various shapes onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Best done with dough at room temperature.
4. Sprinkle with colored sugar
5. Bake at 375 º 5-7 minutes.
